Directed by Marie Beer, Notre regretté Alfred is a mordant theatre piece that laughs at death while probing what remains of us after we are gone. The play brings together performers from several generations — Marie Beer, Maurice Aufair, Marie Druc, Christian Gregori, Gabriel Izquierdo, Frank Semelet and Albert Pià Cornella on guitar — with Rinaldo Del Boca’s lighting shaping intimate and incisive scenes. BBBBBBB, the Japanese duo of Saionji (voice and sound production) and Sawa (voice), unleashes a sonic upheaval where digital hardcore collides with noise, industrial textures, trap and other unruly sounds. US guitarist Erica Dawn Lyle brings an intense, abrasive electric-guitar solo, carving a raw and uncompromising path through distortion and physical energy. Bamba Triste and Fuxy Lady round out the evening with a record-spinning set specially conceived for this occasion, extending the night’s adventurous, unruly soundscape.
At the crossroads of theatre, mixed reality and technological installation, this immersive performance invites audiences to test the machine built by a scientist to tackle existential problems. Wearing mixed-reality headsets, spectators collectively explore the chaotic inner world of a person trapped by indecision. The experience moves between human vulnerability and artificial intelligence, until the machine itself begins to falter in the face of what it cannot fully understand.

Performances range from half-hour episodes to hour-long narratives and beyond, driven by a tight ensemble of improvisers who build sustained dramatic arcs, shifting tones and unexpected emotional turns. The creative approach privileges listening, risk and theatrical economy, offering immersive, spontaneous storytelling rooted in theatrical craft and collective play.

Emergentia 2027 brings together the next generation of choreographers from Geneva and beyond in a two‑week festival of new performance and research. Conceived and produced by three Geneva organizations, the program juxtaposes site-specific creations, international residencies, open studios revealing works-in-progress, and embodied workshops and conversations. Performances feature artists such as Isam Abad Montalvo, Sami Lea Samira Bernath, Oscar M. Damianaki, Efthimios Moschopoulos and Soraya Leila Emery, alongside collaborative projects and emerging voices.

Told as a solo performance, this piece follows a woman as she remembers the films that shaped her life and blurs the line between cinema and memory. Through references to science-fiction sagas and cinematic archetypes — the woman-soldier, the survivor, the reluctant mother — the show probes identity, fear of change and the ways stories migrate from screen to skin. Sparse staging and intimate narration create a haunting, introspective atmosphere.
