Directed by Eléonore Bonah and staged by scenographer Maria Clara Castioni, CHRÜSIMÜSI transforms Adelheid Duvanel’s terse, poetic fragments into a multilingual theatrical tapestry. Performers Eléonore Bonah and Maria Clara Castioni inhabit hypersensitive, marginal characters whose everyday gestures oscillate between absurdity and tenderness. Sparse staging and a careful interplay of voice and silence highlight Duvanel’s Kafkaesque intimacy, while language shifts (French, German, Italian) create a fragile, dreamlike atmosphere that balances humour and quiet despair, celebrating stubborn acts of resistance.

Invited by the OSR, Krzysztof Urbański conducts the Berner Symphonieorchester with Swiss pianist Francesco Piemontesi in a programme devoted to Johannes Brahms. The evening contrasts the Piano Concerto No. 1—born in mourning, marked by solemn intensity—with the radiant serenity of Symphony No. 2. The interpretation privileges orchestral warmth, layered textures and clear dynamic shaping, transporting listeners into an intimate, emotionally charged sound world where lyricism and dramatic surges alternate with measured poise.

Drawing on the poetry of Alda Merini, this new creation by Cie Linga brings seven performers and dedicated collaborators together in a politically charged, poetic ensemble. The piece explores collective choreography as a living, shifting organism: bodies merge, diverge and form ever-changing configurations that reveal individual singularities within a shared consciousness. Through intimate physical connections and circulating emotions, the company imagines diversity as a source of collective richness and a hopeful vision of communal joy.

Directed by Jean Bellorini in collaboration with Yang Hua Theatre, this staging reimagines Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s Le Petit Prince with the title character portrayed by a Chinese actor. The production blends French and Mandarin dialogue with live music by singers from China’s independent scene. Actors François Deblock and Marc Plas perform alongside a cast that shifts between a childlike prince, an ancient reciter of poems and fantastical cosmic inhabitants. The staging mixes song, poetry and intimate theatricality, exploring friendship and human connection.

In French and Mandarin.
