Marionette Excavations

Reserved for participants who have previously taken part in workshops or the Grand Chantier, this advanced atelier deepens puppet staging and performance. Relying on puppets provided by the TMG and on extracts from classical and contemporary texts, participants explore spatial relationships, stage mechanics and dramaturgy. Through guided exercises and scene work with Chine Curchod and Joël Hefti, the workshop investigates techniques of manipulation, characterization and ensemble timing to refine expressive possibilities in marionette theatre.
