Festival Haydn & Mozart #7 returns to Geneva in 2027, celebrating the timeless genius of Joseph Haydn and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart through a vibrant series of concerts featuring internationally acclaimed artists and emerging talents. Presented by Gli Angeli Genève, the festival offers audiences an inspiring journey through the richness, elegance, and innovation of the Classical era in some of Geneva’s most iconic venues.
Two short plays by Anton Chekhov staged by Tibor Ockenfels and Flavie Tapparel, presented as compact dramatic machines where romantic comedy masks escalating confrontations between desire, affection and material interest. Performances rely on precise physical timing, terse exchanges and a lean, playful design to reveal the simmering violence behind courtship rituals. The three actors — Estelle Bridet, Matteo Prandi and Raphaël Vachoux — inhabit heightened character types that shift between farce and darker comic truth, creating a sharply observed, kinetic evening.

Historian Manon Bril guides the audience through surprising episodes of human history, overturning assumptions with a sharp, offbeat humour and playful staging. The show mixes clear popular-science explanation, theatrical images and comic timing to reveal that nothing has “always been like this”.

Choreographed and created by Vanessa Riera, this défilé-performance brings together a mixed community of young people in migration, artistic trainees and youth experiencing social rupture, who prepared the work through workshops and perform as the runway cast. The creative team includes a musician, a scenographer, an assistant, a technician and a make-up artist. Reclaimed garments sourced from textile bins and a social wardrobe are reshaped into sculptural, elegant costumes. The piece blends fashion and choreography to explore belonging, identity and material transformation.
Ivan Urgant brings his late-night show to the stage in a lively concert format, blending sharp on-street reports, intimate guest encounters, national costume try-ons and stand-up humour. Performed by Urgant and his team, the production mixes televised spontaneity with theatrical staging, inviting the audience into the creative process and moments of improvisation. JazzContreBand celebrates its 30th anniversary with a new creation led by trumpeter Erik Truffaz. Franco‑Swiss musicians join forces with the Orchestre des Alpes et du Léman in Side by Side, a programme that blends classical writing, jazz phrasing and open-ended improvisation. The project explores textural contrasts, orchestral colours and solo interplay, shifting from intimate chamber passages to wide, cinematic swells. Expect nuanced dynamics, luminous timbres and collaborative dialogue across genres.
