Altremie is a newly coined word that anchors this intimate performance. Elies Zoghlami reflects on a life of putting others first — from years as a nurse to friendships and romantic ties — and on the habit of always postponing his own desires. With a gentle blend of humour and tenderness, the piece navigates memory, care and vulnerability, moving between laughter and quiet emotion to build a close, candid connection with the audience.

Emergentia 2027 brings together the next generation of choreographers from Geneva and beyond in a two‑week festival of new performance and research. Conceived and produced by three Geneva organizations, the program juxtaposes site-specific creations, international residencies, open studios revealing works-in-progress, and embodied workshops and conversations. Performances feature artists such as Isam Abad Montalvo, Sami Lea Samira Bernath, Oscar M. Damianaki, Efthimios Moschopoulos and Soraya Leila Emery, alongside collaborative projects and emerging voices.

Sir András Schiff and Evgeny Kissin join at the piano for an intimate programme of pieces for two pianos and four hands. They perform Mozart’s Sonata in D major, KV 448, Schumann’s Andante and Variations, op. 46, and Bilder aus Osten, Smetana’s La Moldau in the four‑hand arrangement, plus selected Dvořák Slavonic Dances. The recital balances classical clarity with Romantic depth, highlighting refined ensemble interplay and the contrasting voices of two towering virtuosos.
Set between domestication and escape, La zone nono follows a troupe of ragged yet endearing animals seeking community and freedom. Two table puppeteers and two musicians bring to life quirky creatures through live music and songs, blending humour and poetry. The staging balances intimacy and playful invention, exploring solidarity, resilience and the pull of the wild. The show is performed in French and mixes witty storytelling with musicality and inventive puppetry.

Directed by Rebecca Stella and adapted with Danielle Barthélemy, Cendrillon blends classic fairy-tale drama with manga-inspired staging. Pili Loop’s original score, Mathieu Courtaillier’s lighting and the set by Camille Ansquer shape a vivid, contemporary universe. The program explores emergent writing and stage practices— from plateau-based text to pieces rooted in the real—offering layered, often indisciplinary approaches that question formats and invent languages for a transforming world. Accompanying meetings and discussions extend the works and open insight into creative processes.
Choreography and performance by Victoria Dauberville, this dance piece follows a ballerina who literally escapes her music box to discover a new world and, ultimately, herself. Like a doll shaped by strict rules, she abandons prescribed steps and meets other dancers and styles, inventing her own movement. The staging plays with expectation and humour, questioning what it means to dance with others and alone, and opening space for surprise and tenderness.
