Désirs brutes

Colombian artist Rubén Barrios‑Rodríguez develops an interdisciplinary practice spanning drawing, photography, photo‑performance, video, performance, installation and object-making. In Désirs brutes the male body becomes a territory where desire, eroticism, constraint, vulnerability and resistance intersect. Through homoerotic imagery, naked bodies, masks, harnesses and deliberate references to football, the artist interrogates patriarchal and heteronormative models and the social codes that shape masculine behaviour. The works repurpose sporting objects and rituals to juxtapose traditional notions of virility with fragility, desire, pain and forms of resistance.

Her layered brushwork and muted palette explore memory, loss and melancholic reverie.

Swiss artist Seline Burn presents a series of about a dozen paintings that explore liminal territories where identities, emotions and relationships transform. Figures in motion, in relation or in passage emerge from an omnipresent water, which functions as memory, inner landscape and dream space. Recurring colours weave a sensitive thread through contrasts and tensions across the works. The exhibition encourages contemplation of ambivalence and the possibility of finding forms of belonging within transient states.

Artists Ana D and Noora K present a dreamlike photographic project probing transparency, memory and perception. Through layered photographs, lenticular prints and sculptural extensions of the image, the duo uses superposition, diffusion and formal alteration to reveal overlapping temporalities and interior images.
The works deploy spatial configurations where fragments of lived experience shift, associate and recombine, positioning photography as a territory of projection and transformation. Curated by Myriam Bongard‑Stadler, Dreams navigates the border between sleep and wakefulness.
