Sara Correia, a rising star in the world of fado, takes the stage at Geneva’s Victoria Hall for an extraordinary evening as part of the Grandes Voix du Fado series. As a natural heir to the fado tradition, she is celebrated for her powerful voice and magnetic presence. Born in Lisbon and mentored by legendary figures, she won the Grande Noite do Fado at just 13 years old. With three critically acclaimed albums, she has become a prominent ambassador of modern fado, while still honoring its traditional roots. Having received numerous accolades and international recognition, she also shares her expertise as a coach on The Voice Portugal. Her latest album, “Liberdade,” is a blend of traditional fados and contemporary compositions.

As part of the KorSonOr exhibition-festival, James Webb presents two new works from his ongoing series A Series of Personal Questions: a live performance at the Musée d’Art et d’Histoire engaging with the enigmatic Port Statue (c. 80 BCE), and a sound installation along Lake Geneva, where his open-ended questions invite audiences to experience objects and landscapes as living interlocutors rather than static symbols.
