Contrechamps presents Mathias Spahlinger’s doppelt bejaht, a highly political cycle of 24 solo études probing how a musician carves out a space of freedom within social, political and artistic constraints. The work is open and immersive, performed around the audience so listening becomes a shared, shifting experience. Musicians navigate moments of tension and intimacy, inviting attentive reflection on agency, gesture and the political dimensions of musical choice.
Jô is a Luso‑Brazilian singer-songwriter who blends reggae, rap and Brazilian rhythms into a warm, groove-driven sound. Based in Geneva, she has quickly made a mark on the local scene with intimate, charismatic performances and socially engaged lyrics. Her music balances sensual melodies, rhythmic buoyancy and sharp lyrical themes, inviting listeners into a reflective yet danceable world. Christian Mukuna presents a dinner-show combining a welcome drink, a seasonal menu and a forty-five-minute artistic discovery. Directed by Gaspard Boesch, the new show “Et si c’était le dernier” blends intimate storytelling, sharp observation and theatrical choreography to probe memory, longing and everyday humour. Three performers — Sophie Lebrun, Redwan Reys and Atakan Tan — inhabit new incarnations of Nasreddine Hodja, turning everyday situations into unexpected twists that reveal quiet wisdom. Vicky Althaus’s lighting and an intimate, communal mise en scène frame moments of humour, ritual and shared eating, inviting audiences into a warm, inventive collective experience.
