CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research) is one of the world’s leading scientific research centers, located on the Franco-Swiss border near Geneva. Dedicated to the study of fundamental particles, it hosts cutting-edge facilities such as the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). Beyond research, CERN is also a place for public engagement, offering exhibitions, guided tours, and interactive experiences that bring the mysteries of the universe closer to everyone.
Future Explorers brings together scientists, engineers, astronauts, sailors and artists to examine the frontiers of space, mountains, oceans, artificial intelligence, cosmic rays and the search for life. The program explores interdisciplinary collaboration and the role of curiosity in driving scientific discovery, highlighting hands-on activities, talks and performances that illuminate how research and creativity shape our understanding of the universe and our planet.
Célia Pelluet, quantum physicist, aerospace engineer, radio columnist and comedian, performs her first solo show blending sharp stand-up, songs and lyrical scientific storytelling. The piece moves between gravity and lightness, folding personal anecdotes and playful explanations of scientific ideas into reflections on doubt, relationships and the pressure to pick a single path. Intimate and witty, the performance celebrates the beauty of science while embracing uncertainty and the notion that even particles can hesitate.
