42nd AMR Festival at Cropettes

L’AMR at Cropettes is hosting a series of eclectic concerts. Kicking off the event is Gregor Vidic with his Paul Motian workshop, followed by the Pagano/Aram/Balda trio, breathing new life into jazz classics. Alkebulan adds African melodies and rhythms with saxophones and a tuba. The Klopfenstein Quartet offers music rich with Coltrane inspiration. Couleurs Chimériques captivates with a minimalist electronic duo. The evening wraps up with the Italian Retro Fever Party, a dance tribute to Italian pop. All performances are free, with food and drink stalls available.

The Théâtre du Loup offers a fresh take on “Krazy Kat,” directed by Eric Jeanmonod, to celebrate the final season of the company’s founders. This theatrical adaptation, inspired by George Herriman’s renowned comic strip, explores the intriguing love triangle between a cat infatuated with a mouse, a dog smitten with the cat, and a mouse that relishes throwing bricks. Blending poetry and irony, the production gathers a talented cast for a touching and nostalgic experience.
