Bbbbbbb + Erica Dawn Lyle + Record-Spinning Set

BBBBBBB, the Japanese duo of Saionji (voice and sound production) and Sawa (voice), unleashes a sonic upheaval where digital hardcore collides with noise, industrial textures, trap and other unruly sounds. US guitarist Erica Dawn Lyle brings an intense, abrasive electric-guitar solo, carving a raw and uncompromising path through distortion and physical energy. Bamba Triste and Fuxy Lady round out the evening with a record-spinning set specially conceived for this occasion, extending the night’s adventurous, unruly soundscape.

Choreographed by Cindy Van Acker with Cie Greffe, Les Impromptus grew from the choreographer’s solitary encounters with the paintings of Léon Spilliaert. These ephemeral, site-responsive performances are invented in the moment: short, spontaneous pieces shaped by interactions with artworks, spaces and present spectators. Emphasising proximity and improvisation, the work unfolds through the company’s refined movement vocabulary, exploring presence, memory and the play of light and silence to create intimate, immediate compositions rooted in the here and now.
