Amélie Patry presents a body of ceramic work rooted in the landscapes of the Loire Valley. Through long walks she collects soils, stones and vegetal matter which she incorporates directly into her vessels. Her process—digging, carrying and shaping—follows a slow attentiveness to material transformation. Fired in the kiln, these gathered elements yield irregular surfaces and textured skins that suggest mineral reliefs and fossil fragments, connecting body, landscape and layered temporalities.
An extensive survey assembled from a long-standing research collection devoted to glass, this exhibition takes a contemporary look at a millennia-old material. Over two hundred glass and mixed-media works, including sculptural objects, design pieces and installations, testify to a transdisciplinary experimental spirit. Featuring artists such as Ettore Sottsass, Pierre Charpin, Betty Woodman, Bob Wilson, Giuseppe Penone, Jana Sterbak and James Lee Byars, the show examines materiality, technique and the porous boundaries between craft, design and contemporary art.

La Fonte is a cultural space located in the Halles de la Fonderie in Carouge. These former workshops, made available by the City of Carouge, host a variety of community and cultural activities each year, including a refreshment area, concerts, artist residencies, workshops, and exhibition and lecture series. The eponymous collective is responsible for programming and organizing these events.
Photographer Bertrand Carlier presents a series of large-format portraits that foreground women working across Geneva’s agricultural landscape. The photographs depict market gardeners, winegrowers, fruit growers, livestock farmers and cellar managers in their working environments, using natural light and documentary framing.
The project explores gender, labour and continuity, revealing how women’s labour shapes rural economies and biocultural traditions. Set against the UN’s International Year of the Woman Farmer 2026, the work invites renewed attention to the diversity of skills and trajectories within contemporary Geneva agriculture.
Students from the Centre de formation professionnelle en Arts (CFP Arts) present collective projects imagining Geneva in the second half of the twenty‑first century. Through garments, jewellery, ceramics, videos, comics, choreography, urban furniture, installations and digital or graphic works, they stage speculative scenarios—from utopian reinventions to dystopian provocations. Employing craft, performance, film and design strategies, the works probe technological, environmental and social futures, asking how everyday life, material culture and public space might be transformed.

Jean-Jacques Rousseau’s herbarium, compiled in the 1770s for the printer-bookseller Charles-Joseph Panckoucke, is presented through preserved pressed specimens, its original catalogue and related botanical publications. The historical collection combines scientific observation and aesthetic arrangement, revealing Enlightenment approaches to collecting, classification and the popularisation of plant study. Detailed notes and annotations illuminate Rousseau’s techniques and the materiality of specimens, inviting reflection on how personal curiosity and scholarly networks shaped early modern natural history.
EXEM aux urnes – 40 Years of Political Posters brings together 40 political posters by Geneva-based illustrator EXEM between 1988 and 2023. Spanning nearly four decades of Swiss direct democracy, the exhibition explores the distinctive language of political posters at the intersection of graphic art, satire, and political commentary.
Through EXEM’s sharp and engaging imagery, the exhibition traces the political issues and communication styles that have shaped Swiss public life, and offers insight into the artist’s creative process and the stories behind his iconic posters.
