Hosted by pianist and organiser Nicolas Hafner, this open mic celebrates francophone song and invites singers and musicians to step on stage and share the pieces that move them. Guided by Hafner and his collaborators, the evening privileges musical exchange, the joy of live performance and a diversity of repertoires. Original compositions are welcome and performers are supported by a resident backing ensemble featuring Carine Tripet (voice), Théodore Monnet (accordion) and François Torche (drums).

JOUBe (Romain Joubert) stages an electro, dance‑driven performance that converts his bicycle into a musical instrument. The live set blends field recordings gathered on the road, intimate testimonies and improvised electronic beats to build a roaming dancefloor experience. Minimalist textures, pulsing rhythms and playful sonic bricolage invite physical movement and collective listening, shifting between introspective passages and euphoric bursts. The project balances technological curiosity with human stories, creating a cinematic, mobile club atmosphere.

La Bâtie Festival celebrates its 50th edition from 25 August to 13 September 2026! Over three weeks, theatre, dance, concerts, performances, circus and parties will take over venues across Geneva and the region. This anniversary edition also introduces Le Béaba, a new open-air hub at the Musée Ariana, bringing together free events, performances and concerts in a lively, convivial setting.

Directed and choreographed by Nicolas Barry, La Demande d’asile stages the brutality of the asylum procedure through the bodies and voices of two performers, Sophie Billon and Nangaline Gomis. Blending dance and theatre, the piece makes administrative violence tangible and centres the specific difficulties faced by LGBTQIA+ people when forced to narrate their histories and identities under interrogation. Sparse scenography and intense physicality probe memory, vulnerability and survival.

Directed by Janaina Leite, this daring staging draws loosely on Georges Bataille’s L’Histoire de l’œil to examine the porous border between theatre and pornography. Fifteen performers, professional and amateur — including sex workers — enact a dark fable where live music, theatrical storytelling and explicit scenes interweave to probe shame, desire, taboo and compulsion. The production treats transgression with care, prioritizing consent and reflection while balancing the vulgar and the sublime.

Variations Musicales de Tannay presents a ten-day classical music festival offering a series of tented concerts featuring invited soloists, chamber ensembles, orchestral projects and family-friendly performances. Programmes range from intimate recitals and chamber music to larger ensemble and orchestral works, with one free family concert aimed at young audiences. Concerts are staged regardless of weather, and the festival emphasizes artistic variety, lyrical expression and accessible programming that invites listeners of all ages into the world of classical music.

Medieval Crack is a performative choreography by Collectif Foulles that collapses medieval imagery into a living, queer‑inflected spectacle. Conceived and choreographed by the collective (Collin Cabanis, Auguste de Boursetty, Délia Krayenbühl, Emma Saba and Fabio Zoppelli) and performed by Collin Cabanis, Auguste de Boursetty, Délia Krayenbühl, Clovis Maillet and Fabio Zoppelli, the work unfreezes sacred tableaux through pop‑medieval songs, spoken interventions and dances that shift from ritual to concert. The piece probes historical fissures to reveal other narratives, bodies and modes of existence.
