Conductor Stanislava Nankova leads the Liederkranz-Concordia Choir with an ad hoc symphony orchestra, featuring soloists Fanny Utiger (soprano), Oscar Esmerode (tenor) and Sacha Michon (baritone). The programme juxtaposes operatic arias by Puccini, Boito and Mascagni with sacred and Classical choral pages by Mozart, tracing a path between darkness and light. For his final production as a theatre director, Jean Liermier revisits Tennessee Williams’s autobiographical classic about memory, longing and family. Set in the 1930s American South, the staging gathers a company around Laura, here embodied by Aurélia Thierrée, with Cyprien Colombo, David Gobet and Clotilde Mollet completing the ensemble. Liermier’s direction emphasises fragile interiors and poetic movement, offering a liberating, weightless atmosphere that balances tenderness and uneasy nostalgia.

Directed by Céline Goormaghtigh and written by Anne Berest, LA VISITE probes maternal instinct with sharp humour and urgent intensity. The work explores ‘matraissance’—the birth of motherhood—balancing lucidity, rage and tenderness to unsettle familiar myths about maternal bliss.
