Led by principal conductor and artistic adviser Tugan Sokhiev with Yefim Bronfman as soloist, this programme is devoted to the towering works of Sergei Rachmaninoff. Bronfman’s formidable technique and lyrical intensity meet Sokhiev’s dynamic direction in the Piano Concerto No. 3, followed by the symphonic sweep and romantic grandeur of the Second Symphony. Choreographed by Davi Pontes and Wallace Ferreira, Repertório N.2 investigates dance as a practice of self-defence. Conceived during the 2021 pandemic, the piece intensifies a trilogy’s first instalment through sustained, frenetic movement and charged proximity. Audiences are placed around the performers, their attention made central as the artists fix them with a confronting gaze. Static, voguing-inspired poses punctuate the work—stillness becomes a concentrated power, always on the verge of impact.

Choreographed by Léo Lérus, Gounouj in situ is an intimate, physical dance for four performers that evokes fragile, living landscapes. Rooted in gwoka rhythms and inspired by the creole concept of bousyè, the work blends traditional and contemporary vocabularies to explore vulnerability, transformation and resistance. Bodies shift between human and amphibious states across a sensory soundscape of bird song and marine breath, transforming the stage into a moving ecosystem and proposing a fragile possibility of new balance.
Anitya — L’Impermanence is a participatory solo circus performance by acrobat Inbal Ben Haim. Set among a web of taut, intertwined ropes, the piece explores impermanence, letting go and collective reconstruction. Ben Haim’s mastery of the corde lisse produces striking visual tableaux, blending physical virtuosity with intimate audience interaction as spectators are invited to untangle and lift the performer. The work is atmospheric and sculptural, balancing tension, release and quiet resilience.
An emblematic stand-up showcase celebrating the club’s ninth anniversary, presenting the best of Romand humour across three nights. Eighteen talented comedians alternate on stage in an intimate, vaulted-cellar setting, delivering sharp observations, playful storytelling and rapid-fire sketches.
