Between folk, rock and poetry, Souad Massi presents Zagate, a luminous album where the softness of her voice meets the world’s depth. The Franco‑Algerian singer channels anger and hope with touching sincerity; the new record is more electric, moving from warm rock to hypnotic afrobeat, Saharan folk to Parisian blues. Accompanied by Ralph Lavital (guitars), Guy Nsangué (bass), Martin Wangermée (drums) and Mokrane Aldani (violin, mandole), her performance extends themes of freedom and justice.

Directed by Jérémy Guérard, La femme parfaite traces a daughter’s confrontation with her dying mother and the inherited patterns that bind three generations of women. Through intimate staging, moments of therapy and delicate origami sequences, the production untangles memory, family conditioning and desires for emancipation. The piece weaves ghosts of the past into a portrait of love and liberation, pairing rigorous dramaturgy with emotional clarity. The performance is followed by a discussion with the audience.

Zamakan is a trio led by Egyptian saz master Abdallah Abozekry, guitarist Baptiste Ferrandis and Indo‑Helvetic violinist Baiju Bhatt. Their oriental jazz blends original compositions with improvisation, weaving vigorous rhythms and drifting poetic reveries. The music foregrounds multicultural identities and adventurous interplay: Abozekry’s hypnotic saz, Ferrandis’s inventive guitar and Bhatt’s virtuosic violin create layered textures that move from intimate stillness to incandescent intensity. Their new album Dans le ventre de la nuit frames the project as an assertion of bold, global creativity.

For his final production as a theatre director, Jean Liermier revisits Tennessee Williams’s autobiographical classic about memory, longing and family. Set in the 1930s American South, the staging gathers a company around Laura, here embodied by Aurélia Thierrée, with Cyprien Colombo, David Gobet and Clotilde Mollet completing the ensemble. Liermier’s direction emphasises fragile interiors and poetic movement, offering a liberating, weightless atmosphere that balances tenderness and uneasy nostalgia.
