Participants explore circle songs, cantos de trabajo, body percussion and diverse dance forms—sabar and flamenco—through practical sessions led by artists and pedagogues including Marine Pelletrau-Duris, Rebecca Roger Cruz, Roberto Castillo, Khady Sarr, Mbar Ndiaye and Felipe Clivio. The programme emphasizes technique, cultural context and collective improvisation to develop expressive and rhythmic skills.
Frédéric Thierstein presents a one-man band set of drums and live loops that blends grungy riffs, throat-singing echoes and disco-pop quirks. Drawing on a quarter-century of collaborations, his compositions stitch together ‘borborygmes loopés’ with obsessive rhythms and unexpected alpine touches, creating a hypnotic, playful odyssey.
