Gli Angeli Genève invites Gli Incogniti and Amandine Beyer in a programme devoted to Johann Sebastian Bach. The evening features the Brandenburg Concertos, concertos for two and four violins, and the harpsichord concerto (BWV 1043, 1048, 1051, 1056, 1064R). Under Beyer’s direction, Gli Incogniti foregrounds freedom, audacity and virtuosic interplay, offering transparent baroque textures, spirited dialogue between soloists and ensemble, and a fresh, expressive approach to Bach’s contrapuntal brilliance.

Stripping movement of its props — even appearing naked as a deliberate “costume” — Jeong reconfigures gestures to blur animate and inanimate, creating an intimate, uncanny ritual.
