Keren Ann and Irène Jacob share a delicate musical and poetic conversation in this intimate performance directed by Joëlle Bouvier. Combining original songs, poetic extracts and subtle choreography, the two artists inhabit a sparing set—piano, armchair and suspended microphone—where lighting sculpts shifting tableaux. The programme moves between solitude and warmth, travel and introspection, revealing their friendship through melodies and luminous texts. Re-created in Paris in 2026.

Emergentia 2027 brings together the next generation of choreographers from Geneva and beyond in a two‑week festival of new performance and research. Conceived and produced by three Geneva organizations, the program juxtaposes site-specific creations, international residencies, open studios revealing works-in-progress, and embodied workshops and conversations. Performances feature artists such as Isam Abad Montalvo, Sami Lea Samira Bernath, Oscar M. Damianaki, Efthimios Moschopoulos and Soraya Leila Emery, alongside collaborative projects and emerging voices.

The evening opens with the BAG Committee, setting the tone before the traditional jam session takes over. Rooted in live improvisation and shared musical energy, the format invites a fluid progression from an initial performance into an open, spontaneous exchange. The result is relaxed yet charged, shaped by the interplay of musicians, the shifting mood of the room, and the pleasure of listening as the music unfolds in real time.
Conceived as a dialogue between historical research and live performance, this second edition of Les Encyclopédiennes explores bel canto and the first currents of Italian Romanticism. Musicians from L’Encyclopédie shape a refined programme that moves from lecture and vocal reflection to concert performance, with Bénédicte Tauran in the workshop and young talents from the HEM in the Ex-Libris concert. The atmosphere is intimate, lyrical, and intellectually charged.

Part of Recluses Fest #10, this evening brings a rare tribute to Parabellum alongside performances by Ring of Cash and Vikie. Former members of Parabellum reunite with guests and local scene stalwarts to revisit cult anthems with raw intensity and communal fervour. Ring of Cash blends power-folk-rock energy with Juliette Canouet’s captivating voice, supported by Mika Garcia, Jean-Philippe Soler and Xa Mesa. Vikie opens with a punk-tinged, politically charged chanson, creating an exhilarating, sweat-soaked atmosphere.

Blending investigation, memory and love letters, the staging probes guilt, betrayal and political history as two former members of the same terrorist group confront a shared past. The production balances documentary clarity and poetic fragments, offering a tense, intimate reflection on vengeance and the echoes of the 20th century into the present.

Presented within the Emerentia festival, this evening gathers three original short dance pieces by Shereya, Joce and Uma. Inspired by literary short stories, the program uses compact narrative forms to probe storytelling through movement, confronting the codes and bodies of institutional contemporary dance. Each 30-minute piece shifts tone and atmosphere, alternating intimate gestures and bold choreographic risk to explore memory, desire and afterlives of the party. The work favours concentrated dramaturgy and physical immediacy.
