Une Heure Tonifiante

Une Heure Tonifiante is a live show that teeters on the brink of collapse: technical glitches, awkward moments, conflicts and wild sketches push the production toward delightful disorder. Facing the pressure of a possible private takeover, the cast tries to salvage the programme, but every effort fuels further chaos. In a kitsch, absurd and joyful universe, the performance turns mishaps into feats and celebrates imperfection. The staging is playful, participatory and relentlessly comic.

Claudine (j’aime pas l’bonheur) is a re-creation by Marjolaine Minot that probes the ambivalence of happiness through intimate theatrical language. Minimal scenic devices and attentive sound design carve spaces of emotion, while a small ensemble negotiates shifts between humour and melancholy. The production favours fragile gestures and precise rhythms to evoke an uneasy, poetic atmosphere.

Presented as a season manifesto, Les Racines du Ciel is a reflective text by Eric Devanthéry that probes the weight of words and collective imaginaries in an accelerated history. It frames the stage as both bulwark and site of shared, engaged human experience, calling to preserve margins against logics of productivity and control. The essay evokes the season’s diverse pieces — from À l’aune to Orlando — and insists on culture as necessity. A transcription and a SoundCloud excerpt accompany the text.

Nearly 250 pupils from École primaire de Geisendorf join 170 musicians of the Harmonie des Cadets in a communal concert that gathers almost 400 young performers. Moments of tenderness puncture the satire, inviting reflection on intimacy, identity and the small rituals of coupling. It balances humour and poignancy to produce a lively theatrical pulse.

REQUIEM POUR DU POGNON is a musical comedy that unfolds as a blackly comic inheritance farce. After the death of wealthy entrepreneur Marcel, a large, fractious family gathers to read the will: a humiliated widow, a lovesick secretary, an avaricious mistress, a dull son, neurotic daughters and grasping cousins. Songs, ensemble numbers and moments of karaoke expose secrets, rivalries and petty betrayals, shifting between biting satire and tender absurdity while the stage pulses with chaotic, carnival-like energy.

Created collectively by the company À l’Ouest with Guillaume Pidancet, this inventive staging reimagines Charles Perrault’s Bluebeard for families. Performed in a mobile truck‑theatre that becomes a ‘suitcase of dreams,’ the production blends playful storytelling, poetic imagery and close‑up interaction to transform a dark tale into a gentle exploration of curiosity and trust. The intimate ensemble features Pierre Boulben, Hugo Braillard and Loubna Raigneau.
