Édith et moi

Yael Rasooly presents a solo performance that blurs puppet theatre and song. As creator, director and performer, Rasooly animates Édith, a lifelike puppet, and weaves an autofictional narrative about loss, trauma and recovery. Haunted by a painful secret that silences her voice, the artist explores resilience through intimate staging, spare scenography and a companion puppet that becomes an unlikely life coach. Live singing and muppet puppetry combine with irony and tenderness to create a resonant, intense experience.
