End-of-year recitals by the Geneva Jazz School present a sequence of student ensembles exploring contemporary jazz textures and improvisation. Performances range from intimate quartets to larger quintets, showcasing Owen Duveau, Mahesh Rajan, Arnaud Mathieu-Meslé, Yannick Banka-Bigero and Léo Bonvin among others. The programme alternates composed arrangements and spontaneous interplay, highlighting young musicians’ lyrical phrasing, rhythmic drive and ensemble listening. Some lineups are to be confirmed.
