Hélice Hélas Éditeur has championed playful erudition since 2011, publishing across literary fiction, genre, art books and comics. The anniversary programme features authors Chloé Falcy, MarieMo, Nétonon Noël Ndjékéry and Simona Brunel‑Ferrarelli.

The programme explores independent publishing practices, editorial collaboration and creative processes through a fanzine workshop (with MarieMo), a panel on editorial work with the Insécables collective — including Emeline Cusin (Métropolis), Stéphane Fretz (Art&Fiction) and Antoine Viredaz (Presses inverses) — and an author conversation moderated by Elisabeth Chardon.

Architecture: Modern Geneva, by Bruno Marchand

Bruno Marchand, professor emeritus at EPFL, leads this five-part lecture series designed for newcomers to architectural history. He brings his academic experience to introduce key figures and approaches in Geneva’s twentieth-century modernity.

The course examines five monographic approaches focused on architects whose urban thinking and buildings have permanently shaped Geneva’s territory and landscape. Sessions investigate themes such as technical progress, Miesian legacy, Le Corbusier’s influence and the plastic use of concrete, revealing how modernity transformed the city.

Designed for emerging professionals and recent graduates, this workshop explores puppetry through the creation of a short performance. Four to five young artists are supported through a guided process from idea to stage, with mentorship in direction, dramaturgy and construction. Participants develop a compact work presented at a public work-in-progress showcase. The programme also offers the chance to win a fully funded four-week training placement in 2027 at Odradek, near Toulouse.

StopMicro, a grassroots association bringing together activists, journalists and academics, presents the book Anatomie d’une puce. The discussion is moderated by Philippe de Rougemont.

The conversation examines the limits of semiconductor “relocalization”, demonstrating that chips are produced through intensive extractivism and colonial practices and travel vast distances before reaching consumer devices. It explores supply-chain realities, environmental impacts and the political rhetoric surrounding technological sovereignty.
