Housed within a spacious 5000-square-meter industrial space situated in the heart of the “Quartier des Bains”, the Musée d’Art Moderne et Contemporain (MAMCO) is a leading institution renowned for its extensive collection of contemporary art. Actively involved in the local cultural landscape, MAMCO frequently collaborates with other institutions and participates in many festivals.
This series of public interviews offers the opportunity to meet and engage with artists, philosophers, poets, and filmmakers. The discussions, moderated by the museum team and supported by educational materials, allow participants to explore or deepen their understanding of the artistic realms of the guests. The participants include figures such as Pierrine Poget, a poet, and Elisabeth Jobin, a curator; Naomie del Vecchio, an artist, and Charlotte Morel, public service manager; David Zerbib, a philosopher and art critic, and Charlotte Schaer, curator; Emmanuelle Antille, an artist and filmmaker, and Françoise Ninghetto, honorary curator; Mai-Thu Perret, an artist, and Lionel Bovier, museum director; Sarah Benslimane, an artist, and Julien Fronsacq, chief curator; as well as Georges Schwizgebel, a filmmaker, and Charlotte Morel.
