With Choreia, a polyballet whose title refers to the harmonious union of song, speech, and dance within a chorus, the CocoonDance Company presents a performance featuring eight dancers who dissolve the conventional boundaries between stage and audience, dance and voice, choral singing and theatrical action.

In doing so, they reconnect with the roots of theatre, reviving the very essence of the chorus in Greek comedy—a blend of dance, song, and action. Choreia is a show that pushes the traditional limits of dance by exploring the concept of the chorus and redefining the interaction between performers and spectators.

19 February – 9 May

Zoe A. Keller and Batia Suter present a collaborative project that reframes the Eranos archives—about 3,000 archetypal images compiled by Olga Fröbe-Kapteyn and held at the Warburg Institute—as material for critical and photographic inquiry.
Taking the form of a critical essay and a photographic installation, the work questions and re-signifies these images, confronting their entanglement with universalist and violent ideologies. The artists propose the notion of the ‘anarchétype’ to reveal archetypal figures as unstable cultural constellations.

Performed by Simon Romang and directed by Georges Guerreiro, Planchette is a comic celebration of appetite and conviviality. Written by Simon Romang and Blaise Bersinger, the show savours the pleasures of shared food, local wine and the easy humour of friends around the table. Philippe Schnider’s lighting shapes warm, convivial moments while artistic collaborators Florence Annoni and Sébastien Corthésy contribute subtle stage textures. Produced by Théâtre Montreux Riviera and Jokers Comedy, the piece balances appetite-driven comedy with affectionate social observation, leaving audiences smiling.

In French.

24 April – 8 May

Adrienne Barman’s exhibition “À POIL!” invites us to a joyful encounter with the human body. Far from the rigid standards of academic art, her drawings of nudes (and a few “naked” pieces!) reveal a rare graphic freedom. A multitude of drawings hung with clips will take over the gallery, transforming the space for two weeks into a lively and spontaneous studio.

Opening: Friday April 24th, 18h – 20h
