Directed by Kim Crofts, this luminous puppet opera reimagines Joseph Haydn’s Philemon and Baucis through a contemporary lens. Puppets give physical presence to gods and villagers, while spoken text alternates with operatic arias performed with the Geneva Chamber Orchestra in co‑production with the OCG and the Ecolint Arts Centre. Themes of divine judgement, hospitality and human greed unfold in a staged world ablaze, where attentive sound and lighting design shape intimacy, menace and fragile mercy.

Harpsichord Recital – Hadrien Jourdan plays Bach

Harpsichordist Hadrien Jourdan offers an immersive reading of Bach’s Partitas BWV 826, 829 and 830 from the Clavier-Übung I. The programme highlights Bach’s mature synthesis of French, Italian and German styles—the gemischter Stil—where dance forms, preludes and character pieces unfold with rhetorical clarity. Jourdan’s articulation and pacing reveal both structural brilliance and quiet affect, while the music’s contrasts create intimate and expansive moments that refresh the spirit and invite deep listening to its emotional and expressive richness.

Choreographed by Jolie Ngemi, Mbok’Elengi transforms the stage into a street: five dancers reimagine Congolese dances, notably the exuberant sebene style. The piece blends contemporary movement and Congolese roots, building cultural bridges through ritual, celebration and resistance. Scenography and lighting shape an ecstatic group party that oscillates between revolt and dream, inviting physical joy and collective catharsis. The performance is non-verbal and driven by rhythm, gesture and communal energy.

In this playful, child-friendly performance, Muriel Imbach explores these questions through six whimsical characters — futuristic poets who reflect on chosen families, blended families, and the invisible bonds that connect us. A poetic journey into what it means to “make family” today.

Revived by director Ninon Fachard after the original staging by Véronique Ros de la Grange, this solo piece stars Jacques Michel with Caroline Gasser as the prompter. Lighting by Rinaldo Del Boca and music by Alain Lamarche carve intimate, shadowed spaces around a red sequined curtain. Makeup by Natalia Lepianka and costumes by Emilie Revel shape the fading glamour of a music‑hall star who soliloquises, recalls past glory and loss, and sings in playback—an inward plunge toward memory and survival.

Set beneath a neon restaurant sign in a Tirana suburb, this non-verbal theatrical-musical performance stages a son’s interior journey. Mario Banushi invites memories and nostalgia to confront the absence of his father, a cook and tavern owner. Fragmented scenes shift between everyday domesticity and hallucinatory tableaux, exploring grief, silence and unspoken bonds through physicality, music and evocative staging. The work balances intimacy and ritual, drawing the audience into a sparse, haunting world.
