Vera Jud, Monique Kozuchowski: Corps pluriels

Vera Jud presents a series of twenty bas-reliefs carved in steatite, where subtle relief and material tactility investigate corporeal presence and memory. Monique Kozuchowski offers three ensembles of works that focus on gesture, colour and drawing, exploring the performative act of mark-making and chromatic relationships. Together the exhibitions stage a dialogue between carved monumentality and painterly immediacy, emphasising surface, touch and the body as a site of layered histories and expressive potential.

Opening as part of ArtCarouge Saturday 7 et Sunday 8 November from 11:00 to 17:00
Closing : 28 November from 11:00 to 17:00

Live Language Model brings together a collective exhibition that unfolds across successive sequences, presenting works and critical reflections on attention at the intersection of language and presence. The programme features performance-based pieces by the duo Calling the Operator (Axelle Stiefel and Octave Magescas) alongside new editions and sculptural installations by Thomas Hirschhorn and Olivier Mosset. Through typographic interventions, printed matter, performance and austere minimal forms, the project interrogates how language conditions perception and the social life of objects.

17 September – 19 December

Dia al-Azzawi presents a new ensemble of recent paintings and sculptures that trace a dialogue between the artist’s interior worlds and his engagement with landscape. In the “Inner Worlds” strand he probes memory, introspection, human relationships and domestic spaces that inform his imagery. In “Under Open Skies” the gaze widens to gardens, light and natural vistas, with recurring references to the Jardin Majorelle in Marrakech. The works combine expressive painting techniques with sculptural presence and a poetic modernist language.

Opening: Thursday 17 September, 18:00

3 June – 11 April 2027

Our eyes are naturally drawn to light and what shines. Yet what could be more fascinating than shadow? Shadows have enabled many fundamental discoveries: the shape of the Earth, the calculation of its circumference, the identification of electrons, and the understanding of planetary motion. They accompany us and enrich our thinking. Come and explore them to learn more about their role in science.

Exhibition in French & in English.

28 October – 20 February

Edmund Clark and Crofton Black present a collaborative exhibition that interrogates the scale and knowledge systems of overwhelming structures of power. Using photography, archival imagery, data visualizations and text, the artists construct an encyclopedic investigation that interweaves images, datasets and language. Works draw on printed reference material to probe the technico-military-industrial complex, examining how knowledge production shapes secrecy, infrastructure and contemporary geopolitical imaginaries.

Opening : 28 October, 18:00

30 October – 5 December

Artist Hunter Longe presents a sculptural installation exploring temporalities that outlast human experience. Overworked and found materials—shaped by erosion, human interventions and geological forces—form mutable constellations where micro- and macro-temporalities meet. The show stages collaborative works including a sound composition with Janiv Oron and ritual-inflected poems by CAConrad, amplifying poetic and material registers. Longe treats found objects as offerings from deep time, repositioning them to shift our perception of duration and agency.

“Momentum” refers to that moment when a movement, once set in motion, gains its own force and paves the way for new possibilities. This group exhibition brings together Gisèle Bonin, Marie-Laure Davy, Adrien Menu, Cristina Alabau, Ana Baigorri, Clara Cebrián, Alice Trauttmansdorff et Olga Burkard, all united by a shared creative energy. Some are joining the MABE Gallery program for the first time, while others return with works that reflect an evolution in their practice, new lines of inquiry, and a fresh perspective.

Through a diverse range of mediums, materials, and gestures, “Momentum” gives rise to unexpected correspondences between the works. The various practices intersect without losing their distinct identities—all driven by a common desire to experiment, to shift boundaries, and to continue their own transformation. Conceived as a meeting point between discovery and continuity, the exhibition celebrates a living form of creation: one that moves forward, reinvents itself, and finds a new impetus through dialogue.

Opening: (AVV) 5 November, 16:00
