La Galerie 38 Genève is a contemporary art gallery located in Geneva’s Bains district, one of the city’s main cultural hubs. Originally founded in Morocco, with spaces in Casablanca and Marrakech, it now expands its vision internationally through its Geneva venue. With a curated and ambitious program, the gallery brings together emerging and established artists while fostering dialogue between African, European, and global art scenes across diverse media including painting, sculpture, installation, and photography.
Géométries marocaines shows works from Ghizlane AGZENAÏ, Meriam BENKIRANE, Ines-Noor CHAQROUN, Yousef DOUIEB, Yacout HAMDOUCH and Younes KHOURASSANI, exploring geometrical forms and shapes in dialogue with Morocco.
Opening: Thursday 21 May, 18:00
Dia al-Azzawi presents a new ensemble of recent paintings and sculptures that trace a dialogue between the artist’s interior worlds and his engagement with landscape. In the “Inner Worlds” strand he probes memory, introspection, human relationships and domestic spaces that inform his imagery. In “Under Open Skies” the gaze widens to gardens, light and natural vistas, with recurring references to the Jardin Majorelle in Marrakech. The works combine expressive painting techniques with sculptural presence and a poetic modernist language.
Opening: Thursday 17 September, 18:00
