Suffocation (EU Tour)

Booking Required

Formed in 1988 on Long Island, Suffocation helped define brutal death metal with relentless riffs, complex rhythms and guttural vocals. On this tour they share the bill with Ingested, Undeath and Eternal, creating a night of extreme heaviness and technical ferocity. Expect densely layered compositions, crushing breakdowns and high-energy performances that emphasise precision and intensity. The programme highlights both legacy material and newer, uncompromising tracks that showcase the genre’s raw power.

A darkly comic solo play about obsession and domestic chaos. When Michel finds a rare record he has long sought, he prepares a perfect hour to listen — but family, neighbours and a drip that will wreck the disc steadily intrude. Directed by Céline Goormaghtigh and written by Anne Berest, LA VISITE probes maternal instinct with sharp humour and urgent intensity. In a compact domestic setting, a young mother at the limits of endurance confronts visitors while her defenses dissolve; a trio of actresses whirl and collide, delivering a caustic torrent of language and revealing movement. The work explores ‘matraissance’—the birth of motherhood—balancing lucidity, rage and tenderness to unsettle familiar myths about maternal bliss.

6 – 8 October

Choreographed by María del Mar Suárez (La Chachi), this hybrid flamenco pieces tradition and punk sensibility into a raw, personal language. On stage two musicians and a singer shape a live soundscape that frames La Chachi’s emergence: a dim light reveals her silhouette as she advances and begins an ascension. Her motions coil and break in looping cycles as the music intensifies. Visceral and hypnotic, the performance immerses spectators in concentrated rhythms and fierce corporeal poetry.

2 – 11 October

An introspective monologue for multiple voices, La Table d’Amour is a poetic theatrical immersion inspired by a Tinos island tradition. Performed by Manon Krüttli and Jeanne De Mont, the piece follows Manon Krüttli’s journey between autobiography, fiction and dreamlike reverie. It probes questions of living together, reconciliation and the role of conviviality as an artistic gesture, creating an intimate, sensory staging that favors lyricism and shared presence.

7 – 18 October

Rien is a poetic, clownish exploration of the human condition performed through table puppets and object theatre. Performed and manipulated by Aurélie Gourvès and Délia Sartor, the piece stages themes of possession, authority, false beliefs, rivalry, fear of the void and boredom with a minimal scenography by Henry Castres. Assistants Cristina Iosif and François Accard support the staging, while Émile Parisien provides the music. A tender, comic and slightly melancholic show for audiences from six years.
