Siku – Cie Tita8lou

Siku is a performance by Cie Tita8lou, presented under its original title. With no further production details available, the work is best approached through the live encounter itself: the title offers a point of departure, while the performance gives shape to its own artistic world. Rather than presupposing a story or style, this description leaves room for the work to speak on its own terms and for each audience member to form a personal response.

Created and performed by Elina Kulikova and Dima Efremov, TRILOGIE DE LA GUERRE interweaves three musical-performance pieces responding to exile, the war in Ukraine and repression in Russia. Kulikova’s chapters evoke classical and folk song, transforming lament into a ritualised, sensory mourning; Efremov’s contribution uses sound art and electro textures to shift perspective and map clandestine networks of resistance. Together the trilogy forms a compact dramaturgy of intimacy, unease and fragile hope, immersive and politically charged.
