Rire (pour en finir avec soi-même)

Set within a witty cabaret, this solo performance follows a master of ceremonies who moves from bar‑room philosophy to intimate confessions. Blending stand‑up, songs and theatrical provocation, the show slips into the places that creak, pushing against social norms and using transgression to question moral strictures. The staging favors sharp comic timing, raw vulnerability and musical interludes to unsettle and disarm the audience while opening space for reflection.

Directed by Alexander Zeldin, The Other Place is a contemporary reading of Antigone that carves a tragic family drama out of everyday life. On the anniversary of their father’s death, two estranged sisters confront memories, renovation works and an uncle determined to move on. With Jerry Killick among the cast and a strikingly realistic scenography, the production exposes hidden violences, irreconcilable trajectories and raw emotional fractures in a finely observed, tense staging.

For his final production as a theatre director, Jean Liermier revisits Tennessee Williams’s autobiographical classic about memory, longing and family. Set in the 1930s American South, the staging gathers a company around Laura, here embodied by Aurélia Thierrée, with Cyprien Colombo, David Gobet and Clotilde Mollet completing the ensemble. Liermier’s direction emphasises fragile interiors and poetic movement, offering a liberating, weightless atmosphere that balances tenderness and uneasy nostalgia.
