Composed by Vladimir Cosma, this divertimento for narrator and symphony orchestra brings La Fontaine’s fables to life through a sequence of dances. Conductor Philippe Béran shapes shifting tempos and colours while narrator Joan Mompart injects mischief and contemporary wit. The shared forces of the OSR and the young Geneva College Orchestra create contrasts of timbre and playful energy, with orchestral textures that alternate between lyrical warmth and crisp, rhythmic clarity, transporting listeners into vivid storytelling.

The three actors — Estelle Bridet, Matteo Prandi and Raphaël Vachoux — inhabit heightened character types that shift between farce and darker comic truth, creating a sharply observed, kinetic evening.
