Mamu Tshi – Love Under

Created in 2026, Love Under follows two Black men who use dance and music to surface buried emotions under the pressures of identity and society. Rooted in the raw physicality of krump and the intensity of Black musical traditions, the choreography navigates vulnerability and resilience, transforming psychological wounds into creative force. The staging favors close, visceral encounters and dynamic rhythms. An accompanying corporeal workshop with Mamu Tshi complements the performance; the piece is presented as a coproduction with festival and theatre partners.

For his final production as a theatre director, Jean Liermier revisits Tennessee Williams’s autobiographical classic about memory, longing and family. Set in the 1930s American South, the staging gathers a company around Laura, here embodied by Aurélia Thierrée, with Cyprien Colombo, David Gobet and Clotilde Mollet completing the ensemble. Liermier’s direction emphasises fragile interiors and poetic movement, offering a liberating, weightless atmosphere that balances tenderness and uneasy nostalgia.

Directed by Françoise Courvoisier, this production of Anton Chekhov’s Oncle Vania — translated by Arthur Adamov — assembles a committed ensemble (Vincent Bonillo, Pierre Dubey, Bérangère Mastrangelo, Patricia Mollet-Mercier, Clarisse Morizot, Pierre Omer, Juliana Samarine, Edmond Vuilloud) to explore love, the passage of time and illusions lost. The staging, created with scenographer Gilbert Maire and painter André Kasper, uses Rinaldo Del Boca’s lighting, Pierre Omer’s music and Nicolas Le Roy’s sound to evoke both the comedy and the terrifying humanity of Chekhov.

Composed and performed by Vittorio Montalti, Blue Electricity investigates technological surveillance and the erosion of freedom through tense, immersive sound. Metallic percussion, transformed everyday objects and electronic textures blur acoustic and processed timbres, while reactive lighting shapes the performance’s spatial sculpting. The ensemble — Eklekto, Romane Bouffioux, Louis Delignon, Corentin Marillier and Fabien Perreau — executes The Smell of Blue Electricity (2021), a quartet-percussion and live electronics piece that folds theatrical tension into a collective sonic experience.
