Luiza mixes Brazilian warmth and French jazz heritage in a luminous pop-tropical project. Convinced early that words alone could not contain her emotions, she turned to music. Daughter of a French jazz double-bassist and a Brazilian contemporary dancer, she shaped a distinct sensibility. After a stay in Brazil in 2019 she released the single “Soleil Bleu” and the album Luiza, a kaleidoscopic set of songs that weave languages, styles and vibrant rhythms for an intimate, sunlit live experience.
Directed by Rémi Dufay, D’amour et d’eau fraîche is a stage adventure that celebrates movement, friendship and the unforeseen. Rémi Dufay and his ensemble probe margins and fragile frames, staging situations that slip away in a deliberately unsteady ceremony. The production blurs reality and magic, carrying the audience through a joyful, rocambolic wandering. A lively, generous performance that refuses stillness and favours continual transformation.

Scène Vagabonde’s seventh edition brings a compact program of contemporary theatre and music, presenting three contrasting stage works — “Par le bout du nez”, “Quadrille” and “Prima facie” — alongside a concert by Orchestre Tout Puissant Marcel Duchamp as part of La Bâtie-Festival de Genève. Led by conductor Raphaël Merlin and featuring violinist Nemanja Radulović, this concert pairs Prokofiev’s luminous Second Violin Concerto with Brahms’s First Serenade. Radulović’s electrifying stage presence and stratospheric technique bring out the concerto’s ironic brightness, while the serenade unfolds with warm lyricism and folk-tinged dance rhythms. Its form recalls the codes of Greek tragedy, using heightened language and concentrated staging to explore memory, silence and unresolved grief. The ensemble creates a tense, intimate atmosphere that makes emotional rupture palpable.
