Cirque Knie presents a family-oriented, large-scale circus spectacle combining athletic acrobatics, equestrian artistry and choreographed variety numbers. Choreographed by Saša Asentić, Le Sacre du printemps is a reimagined Stravinsky landmark performed by the inclusive company Per.Art. Drawing on historical versions by the Ballets Russes, Maurice Béjart and Pina Bausch and enriched with the voices of disabled poets from Serbia, Iran, Ukraine and the United States, the seven dancers invert the original narrative. The staging transforms ritual into a manifesto of survival, blending physical rigor, collective solidarity and poetic testimony to renew the score as a cry for life.
Soundtrack: Finding Home blends song, staged movement and spoken monologue to trace the fragile journey of a newcomer to Geneva. Performed by a mix of professional and amateur artists, the piece navigates doubt, joy and the search for belonging through intimate vocal textures and choreographed tableaux. The city is imagined as a living presence that answers and challenges the protagonist, while lighting and sound sketches create shifting atmospheres, moving from disorientation to tentative connection.

La Bâtie Festival celebrates its 50th edition from 25 August to 13 September 2026! Over three weeks, theatre, dance, concerts, performances, circus and parties will take over venues across Geneva and the region. This anniversary edition also introduces Le Béaba, a new open-air hub at the Musée Ariana, bringing together free events, performances and concerts in a lively, convivial setting.
