Close the season with your family by experiencing an enchanting musical tale that combines psychedelic folk, swinging rhythms, and absurd poetry. Led by the duo Cyril Cyril and joined by two additional musicians, this show offers an imaginative road trip filled with tender humor and captivating melodies, blurring the lines between dream, music, and storytelling for a playful and uninhibited experience.
Pianists Anastasia Voltchok and Alexei Volodin will perform works by Mozart, Saint-Saëns, Lutosławski, and Rachmaninov as part of the Les Grands Interprètes series. The program features Mozart’s Sonata for Two Pianos in D major, Saint-Saëns’ Variations on a Theme by Beethoven, Lutosławski’s Paganini Variations, and Rachmaninov’s Suite No. 2.
The extraordinary pianist Ivo Pogorelich presents an exploration of Beethoven’s masterworks at the BFM. This concert will showcase the “Pathétique,” “The Tempest,” and “Appassionata” sonatas, along with some of the composer’s bagatelles, highlighting Beethoven’s groundbreaking genius and lasting impact on classical music. A unique event for piano and Beethoven enthusiasts.
Performed by Françoise Courvoisier (voice), pianist and composer Moncef Genoud, and saxophonist Valentin Conus, this project sets Henri Michaux’s poems against a sensual jazz soundscape. Genoud’s original compositions and borrowed motifs intertwine with Courvoisier’s vocal phrasing and Conus’s supple saxophone, leaving space for improvisation. The piece explores memory, fragility and shifting ground through fragmented text and elastic musical lines, creating an intimate, dreamlike atmosphere where language and music open doors to the imagination.

Leonardo García Alarcón and his Cappella Mediterranea, in collaboration with the GTG Ballet, present the opera-dance Castor & Pollux by Jean-Philippe Rameau. Rarely performed in its 1737 version, the work delves into themes of brotherly love and sacrifice amidst a war between two peoples. The show features renowned baroque artists, including performances by Reinoud van Mechelen and Andreas Wolf. Dance is woven into the core of the dramaturgy, highlighting the emotional and musical depth of Rameau’s composition.

Performed by Camélia Acef and Youri Rebeko, La tête ailleurs is a light, comic musical about Norah, who can’t help hearing songs in her head whenever she tries to concentrate. The piece slides between Broadway-classic, funk, pop and tango, treating the intrusive melodies as a playful yet unsettling manifestation of the unconscious. The staging balances energetic numbers and intimate moments, probing memory and identity. The show was nominated at the 2025 Trophées de la Comédie Musicale (Best Book; Revelation Masculine for Youri Rebeko).

Directed by Marie Wyler and adapted from Violaine Bérot’s novel, Comme des bêtes follows a man nicknamed “the Bear” whose difference unsettles a mountain village after a child is sighted near his cave. Performed by Marie Probst, Marie Ruchat, Alexandra Tiedemann and David Casada, the piece mixes elements of folk tale and detective narrative to probe mutual taming between humans and other forms of life. Giulia Muniz’s costumes, David Kretonic’s lighting and Rudy Deceliere’s sound design build a tense, mysterious atmosphere that questions the limits of rationality.
