Artist Linn Nora Henz examines the materiality of images and objects in the tension between public and private spheres and the layers of convention that operate there. Working from her writings, found texts and contexts, she responds through acts of détournement and infiltration. Using experimental photographic processes and filmic pieces that move between documentary observation and sensitive abstraction, her installations appropriate technical equipment to activate space and subvert regimes of looking.

Their Crops, Our Roots – Portraits of Women in Geneva’s Countryside

Photographer Bertrand Carlier presents a series of large-format portraits that foreground women working across Geneva’s agricultural landscape. The photographs depict market gardeners, winegrowers, fruit growers, livestock farmers and cellar managers in their working environments, using natural light and documentary framing.
The project explores gender, labour and continuity, revealing how women’s labour shapes rural economies and biocultural traditions. Set against the UN’s International Year of the Woman Farmer 2026, the work invites renewed attention to the diversity of skills and trajectories within contemporary Geneva agriculture.

An expanded presentation of works from the Geneva School and the Lake Geneva region brings together paintings and drawings by Ferdinand Hodler, François Bocion, John Torcapel, Alexandre Perrier, Félix Vallotton, Alexandre Cingria and Jean Roll. The display traces regional artistic dialogues across centuries, from academic realism to symbolist and modernist approaches, highlighting technique, compositional daring and materiality. The collection has grown through acquisitions and generous donations, and includes a very rare painting executed in Geneva before 1650, now shown to the public.

Martin Hyde presents an exhibition examining the relationships between painting, object, ceramics, design and poetry. His practice blurs boundaries between disciplines, producing works that sit between painted surfaces, ceramic forms and functional design, often scaled to engage the surrounding architecture. The show presents sculptural paintings and crafted objects that consider materiality, repetition and the poetics of domestic forms and scale.

PCC 2024 presents a city-wide parcours of contemporary ceramics by a collective of local and regional ceramists. The programme showcases functional and sculptural work, installations and experimental glazing techniques that interrogate surface, form and material memory. Through dialogues between craft and concept, the parcours highlights processes such as wheel-throwing, hand-building and mixed-media collaborations, inviting reflection on the cultural and tactile histories embedded in clay.

Photographer Florian Luthi’s Fantômes Météores is inspired by the 1954 wave of UFO sightings across France, especially along the Franco‑Swiss border. From one of these accounts he revisits childhood landscapes—mist‑shrouded forests, deserted villages and the Jura—and composes a photographic narrative where truth wavers and legends endure. The series uses long exposures, muted palettes and staged absence to probe memory, collective fear and the boundary between documentary and myth. A collaboration with Fondation Convergences.

Jardin botanique

An itinerant exhibition conceived by researchers from the Haute école de travail social et de la santé Lausanne (HETSL | HES-SO) in collaboration with artist Virginie Rebetez. The project brings together six audio narratives presented as podcasts and twelve photographs to explore questions of end of life, memory, funeral rites, transmission, mourning and remembrance. Through intimate soundscapes and photographic tableaux, the work prompts reflection on our relationship to the living, biodiversity, funerary landscapes and the disappearance of non-human life.
