From Bénédicte Tauran’s vocal performances to Evangelina Mascardi’s vihuela mastery, the festival blends authenticity, research, and intimate settings to bring medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, and early classical music vividly to life for Geneva audiences.

With three critically acclaimed albums, she has become a prominent ambassador of modern fado, while still honoring its traditional roots. Having received numerous accolades and international recognition, she also shares her expertise as a coach on The Voice Portugal. Her latest album, “Liberdade,” is a blend of traditional fados and contemporary compositions.

Fascinated by her talents, Flournoy attends her sessions and publishes an essay on her experiences, unaware of his crucial role in her visions. The play delves into their complex platonic relationship, defying the constraints of a rigid society, highlighting Élise’s quest for freedom and recognition through her mediumship.
