John Sulo: Vive !

Sulo presents his new show, VIVRE (LIVE), an ode to life and its surprises. With humor and authenticity, he shares his vision of the importance of savoring every moment, even the unexpected ones. For the past seven years, Sulo has been touring the stand-up comedy circuit. He left Le Havre to pursue his dream in Paris and has performed countless shows, quickly establishing himself as a regular in key comedy clubs like Paname Comedy Club, Madame Sarfati, and Sacré Comedy. He has also had the privilege of opening for big names in comedy such as Roman Fraysinet, Hakim Jemili, Jason Brokerss, and Fary. Today, he returns with a personal, funny, and touching show, where you’ll laugh a lot but also reflect a little. Because, ultimately, there’s only one thing to do: LIVE!

Led by guitarist Christophe Godin, this high-energy rock evening blends blistering riffs, searing solos and communal jamming. Godin and his team create an open-stage atmosphere where seasoned players and eager guests trade fiery phrases over a punchy rhythm section. Sparse staging, bold lighting and raw sound design foreground the music’s physicality, shifting from tight grooves to explosive climaxes. The experience is generous and unpredictable, driven by virtuosity, improvisation and shared joy.

Choreographed by Christos Papadopoulos, My Fierce Ignorant Step gathers ten bodies whose mounting breath becomes the show’s engine. The piece translates performers’ respiration into kinetic waves and layered soundscapes, dialoguing with the contemporary music of Mikis Theodorakis. Drawing on the choral pulse of ancient tragedy, the work collapses collective Hellenic memory into intimate reveries — the impulse of beginnings, the buoyancy of first encounters and the spontaneous spark of early laughter. The staging is physical, precise and visceral.
