The piece blends restrained physicality and lyrical monologue to map memory, longing and domestic disquiet. Jeremy Ratib performs material from his album Backlot Country, a hazy window onto an adolescence in Los Angeles where Halloween spectres, bushfires that redden Pacific sunsets and empty pools echo post‑Y2K nostalgia amid kickflip cadences. Rooted in folk songwriting, the music unfolds as homemade psychedelic country‑rock emo, intimate and evocative. Ratib is joined by Valentin Liechti (drums, vocals), Robin Girod (bass, guitar, vocals), Flavie Ndam (saxophone, vocals), Lorraine Dinkel (guitar, vocals) and Lucas Churet (sound).
Trained as an actress and inherently intense, Judith*G is a DIY pop star who transforms sleepless nights into joyously cathartic songs. Her witty, heart‑piercing lyrics sit atop catchy melodies, nostalgic synth‑pop and 90s electro‑rock guitars. Humour, self‑deprecation, handmade merch and playful movement complete a raw, energetic stage persona that invites both laughter and close‑up emotional moments.
