Led by percussionist and conductor Fábio Pascoal, Hermeto’s Mothership reunites musicians who accompanied Hermeto Pascoal for decades to perform a repertoire entirely of his compositions. Featuring André Marques (piano), Ajurinã Zwarg (drums), P Jota (saxophone, flute) and Itiberê Zwarg (bass, vocals), the ensemble blends meticulous composition with collective improvisation and bold timbral exploration rooted in Hermeto’s Música Universal. The concert shifts between dense, intricate textures and spontaneous grooves, inviting attentive listening that feels both intimate and expansive.

The creators blend minimal staging and tactile gestures to produce a concise, evocative hour of shared emotion and quiet humour.

Zamakan is a trio led by Egyptian saz master Abdallah Abozekry, guitarist Baptiste Ferrandis and Indo‑Helvetic violinist Baiju Bhatt. Their oriental jazz blends original compositions with improvisation, weaving vigorous rhythms and drifting poetic reveries. The music foregrounds multicultural identities and adventurous interplay: Abozekry’s hypnotic saz, Ferrandis’s inventive guitar and Bhatt’s virtuosic violin create layered textures that move from intimate stillness to incandescent intensity. Their new album Dans le ventre de la nuit frames the project as an assertion of bold, global creativity.

Marie Desroles blends sharp social critique and tender humanity in a stand-up that probes mental health, social inequalities and female sexuality. With a mix of toughness and vulnerability, she breaks conventions through candid storytelling and biting humour, balancing acidity and sweetness. The performance feels authentic, intimate and generous, offering piercing observations wrapped in warmth. Expect bold takes, emotional honesty and a playful yet incisive voice that unsettles and embraces in equal measure.

Led by musicologist Mathilde Reichler and journalist Charles Sigel, this lecture-concert examines the singular sound world of Sofia Gubaidulina through commentary and live performance by internationally renowned Swiss musicians. The program alternates analytical introductions and concentrated chamber renditions, highlighting spiritual intensity, timbral experimentation and lyrical restraint. Performances emphasise quiet intensity and resonant textures, creating an intimate, contemplative atmosphere that balances scholarly insight with the immediacy of sound.

Created by Manon Bril and Etienne Lautrette and directed by Théo Comby Lemaitre, this hybrid lecture-performance blends scholarly rigour with theatrical wit. Historian Manon Bril guides the audience through surprising episodes of human history, overturning assumptions with a sharp, offbeat humour and playful staging. The show mixes clear popular-science explanation, theatrical images and comic timing to reveal that nothing has “always been like this”.
