Under the baton of Nikita Sorokine, and featuring the vocal talents of Amadi Lagha, Amelia Feuer, along with violinist Esther Abrami, the event highlights the works of Ethel Smyth, Augusta Holmès, and Ina Boyle. Julie Conti will add a touch of humor to this evening dedicated to the power of female orchestral and vocal music. The concert concludes with the jazzy melodies of Blossom Dearie, emphasizing the historical significance of women composers in the realm of symphonic repertoire.

“Neolithica, the Great Secret” is a parable exploring the emergence of power and sedentism during the Neolithic era. The performance delves into the hierarchies and violence that arose in that period. Produced by Théâtre de Carouge and directed by Dominique Ziegler, the play examines technical, cultural, political, religious, and social transformations. Supported by the City of Geneva, this production invites a collective reflection on the roots of modern human issues.
