To mark the 300th anniversary of Giacomo Casanova, the MAH presents a major exhibition on this iconic 18th-century figure. Seducer, adventurer, writer, and traveler, Casanova left his mark on Geneva through his encounters with Voltaire. Rare manuscripts and objects trace the captivating journey of a libertine in Calvin’s city.

Convergent Lines at Galerie L’Appartement showcases a dynamic blend of expressive canvases by Mariana Oushiro alongside pieces by Jojo Corväiá, Maarten Vrolijk, and Marius Ritiu. Titled “Everything but sliced,” the exhibition features a video installation, ceramic pieces, and circular objects that delve into the connections between territories, social structures, and individual identities. It examines themes such as power, surveillance, and the movement of bodies, while engaging with the venue’s architecture.

The group exhibition DREAM UP, curated by Séverine Redon, features over 40 works by 23 artists. In a world facing crises, it seeks to reimagine our connections with life, matter, and time through the lens of dreaming. The artworks blend dream and wonder, reviving ancient and intuitive knowledge to offer an expanded consciousness. Here, dreaming becomes a gentle yet profound commitment, a gateway to other worlds.

Henrik Eiben’s creations blend painting and sculpture using materials such as glass, steel, wood, and textiles. His work delves into geometry, color, and materials, blurring the lines between opacity and transparency, and invites a subtle dialogue with the audience.

Gilles Furtwängler transforms everyday words into visual, musical, and poetic elements that challenge and reinterpret their meanings. The exhibition “Musique douce. Disque rayé. Zut.” delves into the visual and auditory potential of words. Through a variety of installations, wall paintings, canvases, and performative readings, Furtwängler reconfigures and recontextualizes texts, turning them into graphic, musical, and poetic components, cleverly interacting with the surrounding messages.
