In a compact domestic setting, a young mother at the limits of endurance confronts visitors while her defenses dissolve; a trio of actresses whirl and collide, delivering a caustic torrent of language and revealing movement. The work explores ‘matraissance’—the birth of motherhood—balancing lucidity, rage and tenderness to unsettle familiar myths about maternal bliss.

Created and performed by Anne-Sophie Turion, Grandeur Nature is an audio-guided promenade that lets listeners slip into the intimate lives of strangers. Wearing headphones, the audience follows a voice-over that transforms ordinary streets, parking lots and public gardens into a theatrical, subtly augmented reality. Real residents become the protagonists of a narrative woven from their own stories, producing a delicate, poetic exploration of the everyday and the hidden resonances of urban life.
