The Festival Les Inoubliables, in collaboration with the Orchestre de Chambre de Genève (OCG), celebrates distinguished female composers with a closing gala concert. Under the baton of Nikita Sorokine, and featuring the vocal talents of Amadi Lagha, Amelia Feuer, along with violinist Esther Abrami, the event highlights the works of Ethel Smyth, Augusta Holmès, and Ina Boyle. Julie Conti will add a touch of humor to this evening dedicated to the power of female orchestral and vocal music. The concert concludes with the jazzy melodies of Blossom Dearie, emphasizing the historical significance of women composers in the realm of symphonic repertoire.

Supported by the City of Geneva, this production invites a collective reflection on the roots of modern human issues.

Sara Correia, a rising star in the world of fado, takes the stage at Geneva’s Victoria Hall for an extraordinary evening as part of the Grandes Voix du Fado series. As a natural heir to the fado tradition, she is celebrated for her powerful voice and magnetic presence. Born in Lisbon and mentored by legendary figures, she won the Grande Noite do Fado at just 13 years old. With three critically acclaimed albums, she has become a prominent ambassador of modern fado, while still honoring its traditional roots. Having received numerous accolades and international recognition, she also shares her expertise as a coach on The Voice Portugal. Her latest album, “Liberdade,” is a blend of traditional fados and contemporary compositions.

The Fesses-tival returns for its 8th edition, exploring diversity, identity, bodies, and sexuality through a program of workshops, short films, performances, and talks. A thoughtful and engaging lineup for curious audiences.

At midnight — the hour of truths — He and She choose to settle scores in a fierce argument that unfolds like a boxing match after more than thirty years of life together. Everything comes to the surface: children, love, parents, ambition, lies, and truths. Their exchanges swing between sharp, heartbreakingly honest, and irresistibly funny. Beneath the comedy and clashes, tenderness and love remain close. Written by Philippe Claudel, president of the Académie Goncourt, the play paints a sharp, entertaining portrait of modern relationships. Directed by Nicolas Briançon, known for hits like Antigone and Le Canard à l’orange, this piece boldly turns intimate tragedy into laughter.

As part of the KorSonOr exhibition-festival, James Webb presents two new works from his ongoing series A Series of Personal Questions: a live performance at the Musée d’Art et d’Histoire engaging with the enigmatic Port Statue (c. 80 BCE), and a sound installation along Lake Geneva, where his open-ended questions invite audiences to experience objects and landscapes as living interlocutors rather than static symbols.
