Futur(s) stages power struggles as a political and human fresco that holds a sharp mirror to our times. Choreographed by María del Mar Suárez (La Chachi), this hybrid flamenco pieces tradition and punk sensibility into a raw, personal language. On stage two musicians and a singer shape a live soundscape that frames La Chachi’s emergence: a dim light reveals her silhouette as she advances and begins an ascension. Her motions coil and break in looping cycles as the music intensifies. Visceral and hypnotic, the performance immerses spectators in concentrated rhythms and fierce corporeal poetry.
Two short plays by Anton Chekhov staged by Tibor Ockenfels and Flavie Tapparel, presented as compact dramatic machines where romantic comedy masks escalating confrontations between desire, affection and material interest. Performances rely on precise physical timing, terse exchanges and a lean, playful design to reveal the simmering violence behind courtship rituals. The three actors — Estelle Bridet, Matteo Prandi and Raphaël Vachoux — inhabit heightened character types that shift between farce and darker comic truth, creating a sharply observed, kinetic evening.

An introspective monologue for multiple voices, La Table d’Amour is a poetic theatrical immersion inspired by a Tinos island tradition. Performed by Manon Krüttli and Jeanne De Mont, the piece follows Manon Krüttli’s journey between autobiography, fiction and dreamlike reverie. It probes questions of living together, reconciliation and the role of conviviality as an artistic gesture, creating an intimate, sensory staging that favors lyricism and shared presence.

Later, Sokkyo, an improvised shōnen, channels epic fights, friendship and soaring emotion with punchy physicality and comic timing. Directed by Françoise Courvoisier, this production of Anton Chekhov’s Oncle Vania — translated by Arthur Adamov — assembles a committed ensemble (Vincent Bonillo, Pierre Dubey, Bérangère Mastrangelo, Patricia Mollet-Mercier, Clarisse Morizot, Pierre Omer, Juliana Samarine, Edmond Vuilloud) to explore love, the passage of time and illusions lost.
