The Biopark is temporarily hosting Janus, a unique two-headed Greek tortoise, during the renovation of the Museum. Each head of this male tortoise has its own independent brain, which sometimes makes its movements challenging. Inspired by Martin Panchaud’s graphic novel, this show tells the story of Simon, a bullied teenager who unexpectedly wins a fortune at the horse races, altering his life dramatically. Michel Lavoie presents a hyper-realistic and poetic production, blending investigative storytelling with visual theater. It explores themes of identity, resilience, and family dynamics, appealing to both young audiences and adults, ensuring a broad and engaging experience for all.

Share a pizza while exploring bold, off‑beat novels chosen for curious 11–15 year‑olds. Through playful games and quick quizzes, participants learn to state their views, sharpen how they read, and name their feelings. Discussion is encouraged in an open, friendly atmosphere: it’s more than swapping favourites — it’s a first step into debating ideas. Sessions are led by editor, bookseller and cultural animator Bertille de Crevoisier.

18 February & 18 March, 15:00

Explore illustrators’ worlds with Carole Sémon. Discover picture books and study colors, shapes and storytelling. Try hands-on drawing inspired by pages from L’Abécémer and Le Lac du cygne. Play with white-and-blue techniques, textures and bold lines. Use pencils, brushes and bright surprises as you sketch characters and scenes. No prior experience needed. Short guided steps encourage creativity and curiosity while you experiment with different techniques and let your imagination grow.
