The Biopark is temporarily hosting Janus, a unique two-headed Greek tortoise, during the renovation of the Museum. Each head of this male tortoise has its own independent brain, which sometimes makes its movements challenging. In captivity, Janus receives attentive care, resulting in an impressive lifespan of 26 years.

Set off on a lively city walk to find animals that live near us. Explore parks, community gardens and green walls. Listen for bird calls, spot squirrels leaping, watch lizards bask on stones and feel the hum of bumblebees. Use keen eyes and quiet steps to discover hidden signs of wildlife. Draw what you see and learn simple clues to recognise each creature. Bright colours, tiny movements and soft sounds bring the city’s wild neighbours to life.

Saturday 6 June, 10:00

Explore a day of nature games, discoveries and hands-on science. Follow a nature rally with colorful clues, visit themed trails and join a fast BioBlitz to spot tiny creatures, plants and birds. Little ones can play freely, try simple crafts and explore with their senses — touching bark, listening to birds and smelling flowers. Guides spark curiosity with short activities that turn every leaf and sound into a small adventure.

Saturday 6 June, 19:00

Step into a lively theatre where children take the stage. They speak, move, and share stories with humour and deep feeling. A cast of kids aged 6 to 13 explores what makes each person different and how those differences can bring people together. The performance mixes laughter and quiet reflection, with moments that build confidence and invite everyone to listen. It’s about finding your voice, gaining confidence, and welcoming others as they are.
