Children’s Storytime

Lie close, close your eyes and listen as a single instrument weaves soft melodies and quiet rhythms designed to soothe little bodies and spark early listening skills. This relaxed, parent-accompanied session invites quiet interaction, breathing, and discovery through sound. Babies experience warmth, rhythm and intimacy while adults follow the music’s flow.

Discover emotions through playful workshops using Kimochis, soft characters that help children name and share feelings. Create and sew your own Kimochi, listen to short stories, and practice gentle breathing and expressiveness. Activities mix hands-on making, bright fabrics, and soft sounds to encourage trust and communication. Children work in small age groups to explore feelings, build confidence, and practice speaking about emotions in a calm, caring space.

Explore illustrators’ worlds with Carole Sémon. Discover picture books and study colors, shapes and storytelling. Try hands-on drawing inspired by pages from L’Abécémer and Le Lac du cygne. Play with white-and-blue techniques, textures and bold lines. Use pencils, brushes and bright surprises as you sketch characters and scenes. No prior experience needed. Short guided steps encourage creativity and curiosity while you experiment with different techniques and let your imagination grow.

Wednesday 18 February, 15:30

Dive into a hungry tale where everyone wants more. Follow greedy characters who ask who will eat what and who might be eaten. The story serves salty bites, sticky syrup, giant pumpkins, and a proud Caribbean mango. Vivid images, playful sounds, and lively movement bring each scene alive. Children will imagine strange flavors, giggle at extravagant tricks, and join the feast with their senses as they explore taste, rhythm, and surprise.
