BiblioWeekend: Musical Reading – The Green Sorcerer

Author Valentine Goby reads a luminous text inspired by Sebastião Salgado’s vow to restore the Mata Atlântica, accompanied by musician Xavier Llamas and the visuals of illustrator Muriel Kerba. The piece blends narrative and soundscapes to trace memory, loss and ecological renewal, following a protagonist who returns to find the forest vanished and decides to replant it. Sparse instrumentation and layered images create an intimate, hopeful atmosphere that magnifies the story’s audacity and collective resilience.
